Sandi
Owner & Fitter
For Sandi, supporting those facing breast cancer isn’t just a profession, it’s a lifelong calling rooted in family, compassion, and community.
As a certified mastectomy and compression garment fitter, Sandi brings over 15 years of hands-on experience and a deeply personal connection to her work. Her mother, Dianne, founded Dianne’s Mastectomy in 1985, and Sandi grew up alongside the business’s growth, helping in the store and volunteering within the breast cancer community while learning the values of compassion and care. She later joined the business full-time, working alongside her mom until Dianne’s passing in 2022, when Sandi proudly took on the role of owner, carrying on her mom’s legacy.
Sandi holds an Honours B.A. in Media and the Public Interest from Western University, along with post-graduate diplomas in Public Relations (Western University) and Event Management (Humber College). Her background in communications and event fundraising, through roles at Sunnybrook Foundation and Childhood Cancer Canada, has broadened her understanding of the healthcare system and patient experience while strengthening her connections within the healthcare community.
After serving on various other charitable boards in the past, she is currently a board member of Speaking of Breasts, which is a woman-led board non-profit in Ontario that advocates for financial coverage, research funding, and widened support for women with breast cancer. She is also an event committee member for a cause close to her heart personally, The Walk to End Cystic Fibrosis.
The deep connection to the mission of Dianne's Mastectomy, her charitable work within the healthcare community, and the care for the women that we serve has shaped the care and understanding that she brings to each client interaction.
