Wearing Your Compression Garments
Wearing compression garments regularly and correctly can help you get the most from them. Your compression stocking or sleeve should feel snug and supportive while remaining comfortable to wear.
Check your garment throughout the day to make sure it is sitting smoothly against your skin, without wrinkles, folds, bunching, or rolled edges. If needed, gently smooth and reposition the fabric.
Follow the wearing schedule recommended by your healthcare professional or our compression specialists. Depending on your individual needs, you may be advised to wear your compression garment during specific activities or for certain periods of the day.
If your garment regularly slips, rolls, bunches, causes unusual discomfort, or no longer feels as supportive as it should, it may be time to have the fit checked.
Remember: Your compression garment should support you, not cause pain or significant discomfort. If you have concerns about how your garment feels or fits, please contact us.
